I am an accomplished Series Director, Shooting PD and Edit Producer with two decades of experience making unscripted TV in the Documentaries, Current Affairs, Specialist Factual and Factual Entertainment genres.
My passion is storytelling and I relish the opportunity to reveal fascinating insights behind closed doors, shine a light on new perspectives and give a platform to those who have something important to tell us about the world and our human condition.
I have led both big and small productions and can work on premium budgets with large multi-camera crews as well as micro budgets with fast turnarounds where I’m wearing multiple hats. Whatever the resources available, my aim is to always deliver high standard television which is polished and expertly made.
I am a technically proficient filmmaker and can operate all industry cameras and light to DOP standard, from beautifully lit interviews and stylish actuality to rough and ready hidden camera and observational filming. The CAA has also authorised me as a commercial drone operator and I hold a current GVC.
I have made films for major UK and International channels as well as SVoDs and many of my films have had delicate access and sensitive subject matter. I have extensive experience working with contributors and presenters can direct A-List talent, expert contributors and ordinary people who have a story to share.
What’s important to me is that when the cameras stop rolling, everybody involved feels like they’ve had a positive experience of the process.
