ABOUT ME
Currently developing scripted projects and seeking further HETV directing opportunities.
Over the past 20 years, I’ve directed premium documentary and specialist factual for UK and international broadcasters, shaping authored, performance-led stories and leading complex productions in the UK and internationally. My work often involves sensitive access and working closely with contributors, presenters and talent to create authentic, character-driven storytelling.
More recently, I’ve stepped into HETV drama as 2nd Unit and Shadow Director on Beyond Paradise (BBC One / Red Planet Pictures), where I directed scenes with core cast and guest artists. That experience has built directly on my background in performance-led storytelling and confirmed my focus on drama.
Alongside my broadcast work, I write and direct scripted projects, with a short film currently in post-production as a calling card for my drama work.
I bring a strong visual sensibility and a collaborative approach to directing, with extensive experience working with talent, shaping performance and delivering under pressure. I’m particularly drawn to character-led stories with a strong sense of tone and perspective.
I’m currently seeking further HETV directing opportunities, building towards block directing.
